Spotless, Cozy Cottage in a Great Location

When my family and I arrived, we were so impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage! Even down to the table and glassware, we knew immediately that someone put a lot of thought into what a renter would need! We loved the outdoor space, especially the outdoor shower. The location was awesome, close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Chris, the owner, was very responsive to any question we had. We recommend 100%. Thank you for such a terrific week!

Very nice little Falmouth cottage

The property was clean and delightful. Our host, Chris, was a great communicator and very accommodating including leaving us his pizza stone and peel. Chris also provided some good info on where to eat in town. He also allowed us extra time before checking out. We highly recommend this rental property. And Falmouth is a charming little town on the cape and a quick ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard.

Location, location, location!

This house is a gem - toddler friendly, large fenced in back yard for our small dog, walking distance to downtown Falmouth and beaches, easy walk to Martha’s Vineyard ferry, great wifi, central air, nautical decor, welcoming and responsive hosts, comfy beds and dreamy pillows, fluffy towels, smart TV, book of excellent local recommendations, it has it ALL. Would recommend in a heartbeat for any family.

Perfect Vacation

First off, the location was perfect! Everything about this house made us happy. There are nautical details throughout and we were still finding them on day five of our stay. The hosts were super easy to deal with and friendly. This house ticked off all our boxes!! The cleanliness was superb and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you could want. I highly recommend this house and would go back in a heartbeat!

Clean with everything you need!

We rented this home for our daughters baptism weekend and it offered everything we were looking for in a rental. The home is very clean and stocked with all towels, coffee maker and other appliances you could possibly need. The fenced in backyard and grill for BBQ's made it a great touch point for my family and their children to spend time together while in Falmouth. The house is in a great location too!

We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful getaway

The house was very clean and well-appointed. Chris and Annie really did think of everything one might need for a comfortable stay. We had a moment of panic when we realized we left coffee filters at home - not to worry, we found them in the cabinet!

We all loved the artwork and home decor. We felt right at home, especially in the sunny dining area - it's the same exact rug we have at home! The kids enjoyed the duplo blocks, train tracks and board games.

The house is close to everything, including a 10 minute walk to the beach. Chris was so helpful providing tips for things to do and places to eat.

Although it was a little cold and windy during our stay, we look forward to another getaway soon!

Ideal

We stayed here for a little over a week and completely loved it. The yard was perfect for the dogs and the layout of the home really allowed us to use the backyard as more of a courtyard that was part of our entire day. Everything was perfectly cleaned. We were able to walk to the beach in the mornings and downtown at night. The house is so well cared for and has these ornate finishings throughout that are just gorgeous. This was the perfect getaway!!

The property is in an amazing location and close to everything in Falmouth for either a short walk or a short ride. Plenty of places to eat around or just do some shopping. Chris was a great host and took care of all the small details. Highly recommend if you have a small pet as they have a fenced yard.

Great Place to Stay in Falmouth

This home is comfortable and clean. A lot of thought was put into what is provided to guests and we really appreciated it. The updated kitchen has a great variety of dishes, glasses, cookware and silverware/knife set. There is a nice sunroom with a table for six where we did a lot of card playing at night. Outside, fenced in yard was convenient to have. Nice, clean Weber grill with back up propane tank. This property is perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. The bedroom with bunk-style full size beds were just a bit to small for adults, but that is mentioned in the information, so we were not taken by surprise.

The location was terrific. Walk to main street including Starbucks and Dunkin! The Falmouth beach right down the road was very nice. We were lucky enough to find metered parking very close to the beach and when we didn't, my husband dropped us off, drove back to the house and rode his bike (5 minutes) to join us.

The owners are very helpful and truly care about your comfort while staying at the house.

Thank you!

An Excellent Cape Cod Experience

We stayed at the cottage while our new home in Woods Hole was being renovated. The cottage was a haven for us and a life saver. Living here is not like staying at your typical Cape Cod rental. It's more like being at someone's home. Annie and Chris are wonderful hosts, and have taken pains to provide everything needed for a great stay except food. The house is very clean, the beach and town are within walking distance, and, with the coronavirus lurking outside, the cottage was safe and comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

Charming Cape Cod Vacation Oasis

This lovingly restored Cape Cod cottage has all the charm you expect from the Cape along with fantastic amenities to make your vacation a dream. A beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, coffee makers, and an array of tools you might need for a lobster and clam bake. We enjoyed most of our meals on the patio in the large fenced-in yard, which had loads of chairs to relax in. The beds were extremely comfortable and the quiet location made for great sleeping. Our family enjoyed doing puzzles on the big table in the sunny dining room- there were more games and puzzles in the house than we could do in a week! The owners even created a clever treasure hunt for whales in the art work and fixtures that decorate the house. It was such a nice touch and our kids were racing around the house to find them.

The location could not be better. We walked to several beaches, the harbor and even into Falmouth's quaint Main Street for ice cream and shopping. This is the kind of place where families make great memories and we hope to return to make more next summer! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We are coming back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this unique and thoroughly charming cottage. It had everything you could want when away from home and the abiliity to transport you to another place altogether. Everywhere you turn there are great details. Each bedroon has its own personality and story. Each bath room has its own perks. I don't know what i loved most, the outdoor shower, the walk-in shower in the handi-capable bathroom or the one with the bathtub and pull-out magnification mirror! The kitchen has everything you could want and overlooked the backyard, the dining room and the living room. Never a feeling of disconnect. The living room had really comfy couches anda pine-paneled wall that evoked memories of my grandparents Cape Cod cottage from childhood, and, oh yeah, did i mention that it has central air! The beach is a walk away. Downtown Falmouth with all of its shops and restaraunrs is one mile. Old Silver Beach is a ten minute drive away, We are coming back!

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic long weekend in this charming and perfectly located home. The owners, Annie and Chris, went out of their way to help us get the most out of everything Falmouth has to offer and did a great job setting up the home for us. They even added a gift of wine and a book for our young daughter. I’ve used VRBO for years and this was the best of many positive experiences. Highly recommended!

What a marvelous little jewel we found in the Falmouth Heights Cottage.

The house is filled with amenities, and reflects the owners’ fine attention to detail. We felt entirely comfortable in this well-appointed house in a quiet neighborhood, whether we stayed in or explored the area. Downtown Falmouth has a myriad of fine shops and varied restaurants to please every taste. The cottage is close enough to walk to several shops and grocery stores and a short walk or drive to the beach. The house is immaculately kept, and despite the size, sleeps six. The house is also fully handicapped accessible. Although my wife and I are not handicapped, we enjoy the bathroom layout and wide doorways. I loved taking my coffee in the dining room that has windows on three sides to enjoy the rising sun. The nautical theme throughout the house reflects Chris’ Naval service and the Falmouth traditions of the sea. I started reading a book from their library that made me hungry to learn more of the area’s history. Our dog, Max was comfortable and safe in the fenced backyard, which also has a grill, patio table and ample chairs for outdoor dining. The state-of-the-art Smart TV allowed us to continue our Netflix binge watching when we weren’t taking in local attractions. Falmouth is a great hub from which to see Cape Cod. The Ferry system offers easy access to Martha’s Vineyard, and Falmouth is centrally located to other Cape attractions. I recommend the using the Ferry offsite parking, shuttle buses and the Vineyard bus passes to make your island visits enjoyable. Annie and Chris were gracious hosts. Their cottage offers something for everyone, young and old.

The house is even more charming in person! We were in town for a family wedding at the seacrest and this house was perfect for our family of 4 and our 2 “babysitters” (grandma and aunt). The owners had pirate signs ready for our kids, there were toys that my son found immediately that kept him and his sister occupied for hours! They even left tokens for the kids to ride the carousel in town. I have never worked with more pleasant, kind and organized owners! The house is just beautiful- so clean and decorated so cute. We had an absolutely wonderful week here. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Larger grocery stores are a very short drive away. Amazing Fall Getaway in Falmouth!

Perfect location. Well appointed and clean, clean, clean! This was a multi-generational trip. Ages ranging from 60 years old to 9 mos. We loved the location! Once we arrived we only got in the car once to get some Pies and Pie Ala mode in Teaticket. (A Must!) Walked to the ferry, Falmouth Heights Beach and downtown. Our kids even walked to the local theater one evening, while we got to watch our grand daughter. The house is crispy clean and recently renovated. The baby crawled everywhere and her knees stayed clean! The house is well appointed. Everything you need is at hand and the eye for design detail was so appreciated! We truly felt we got to escape to the Cape in this sweet little cottage by the sea!

Perfect Escape!

My husband and I just returned home from our second visit to this property. Our first visit was in August 2015 and we decided to plan another visit over MLK weekend 2016.

Both visits to this property were exceptional! The owners are incredibly hospitable, making sure that every comfort of home is provided with the rental. The house itself is beautiful and very well maintained. All three bedrooms are generous sizes, bathrooms are both updated very nicely, and the kitchen has all modern and clean appliances. The living room comfortably seats six adults. The entire house is very nicely decorated and it is clear that the owners take pride is maintaining the home. Even though many times on vacation we decide to eat at restaurants, this home and yard was so inviting and comfortable that we actually chose to eat at home many nights as well. The owner pointed us to a great fish market in town where we bought lobsters!

We were very pleasantly surprised by how many shops and restaurants remain open all year. We could easily walk into any of the restaurants in town and grab a seat. Some restaurants had really delicious winter menus that piqued our interest. On each of our three nights we were able to find live music at one of the restaurants in town. We loved getting to enjoy the town at a time when the streets and restaurants weren’t as busy.

This house is in the perfect location for any season. Over the summer, it was very convenient to be able to walk down to Falmouth Heights Beach, as well as British Beer Company which is right on the water. It is also a less than 5 minute walk to hop onto the Martha’s Vineyard ferry. So simple! In addition to walking to the beach, walking to town is just as easy. Within spitting distance is Friendly’s, Starbucks, and DJs Wings, and if you walk a bit further you will hit the main part of town in a couple of minutes that contains numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and candy/ice cream establishments. We loved having so many delicious culinary options each evening that we went out to dinner.

Overall, this house is just perfect for vacation. It’s in a prime location in all seasons, is very well maintained and welcoming, the owners are responsive, helpful and really do everything possible to make visitors feel at home. Before both visits, wonderful restaurant suggestions were given. The modern amenities of the house made it very comfortable. Most importantly, this house is impeccably clean! We will definitely head back!

Location, comfort, hospitality!

Fall on the Cape is amazing to begin with, and staying at this property made our Autumn trip to Falmouth that much better.

The house is beautiful, with a nice private back yard and patio that we found ourselves on most of the time. An outside shower in the cool morning air was amazing! The size of the house and property was more than enough to comfortably host the six adults in our group.

Nearby attractions are close enough to walk to for food and shopping. A short car ride will easily bring you to other sites on the Cape too.

Why I would really recommend this property though, is the hospitality of the owners. They really made us feel welcome and at ease. They were more than willing to make recommendations for things to do and see and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay (coffee too!). If we travel to Falmouth in the future we will definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful homey place. We came from Washington State for my nephew's wedding and we were happy to see the rental house had everything we needed!! Location was perfect, it is a pleasant stroll to the beach & the wedding venue for us, which was a nice restaurant, The Casino Wharf. Access to the grocery store & other restaurants was also convenient. Part of the wedding itinerary was to go to Martha's Vineyard & a boat cruise, both these activities were with in walking distance to the house. The house was darling & comfortable, and had a Cape Cod feel which made our vacation that much more fun. We enjoyed sitting in the dining room for breakfast every morning & relaxing on the patio. We were able to have the rest of the family, that were staying about 4 blocks away, over for a Bar B Que, they had young children & we were able to find a few outside toys to entertain the girls. Everything is thought of. The people on the east side of our great country were all so pleasant and the owners of this property were very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Falmouth Home

Our family of 4 arrived from the UK to what is now "our second home" in Cape Cod!. We have children aged 19 and 16. From our early enquiries about the house and area, the owners responded quickly and provided us with a wealth of very helpful information. By the end of our holiday, we felt as though they were friends and they were kindly letting us stay in their home! The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable and has more than enough crockery for a large party. Anything that we needed, they were very quick to respond to.
Falmouth is a beautiful town with loads going on. Great restaurants and a fab place to just wander. The beach at the end of the road is lovely. We went most days and it was always quiet (lifeguards were always there), with the ice cream van providing good snacks. We took the owner's advice about the wonderful french bakery, and picked up sandwiches from there to take to beach.
We would return in a heartbeat and would have no hesitation about staying with the owner and his family again!

Wonderful vacation home for extended family

My husband and I, our 2 toddlers, and their grandparents has a wonderful, fun, and relaxing time at this house. Our kids loved the toys in the house, the outdoor/beach toys, and most of all the outdoor shower. The full cable TV and baby equipment (pack 'n play etc) were nice bonuses. As parents, we loved the space for us all to spread out, the grill, and window air conditioning units in each bedroom to keep us sound asleep in the heat. The grandparents loved walking to the beach and the ice cream shop with the kids. The grandmother raved about the lovely dishware and the lavender and hydrangea plants in the front yard. We all loved the toy store, many restaurants, and the library.

The house was lovely, very nicely decorated, and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids to relax. The kitchen had a great base of tools and dishes for us to cook at home. It was extra nice to have bath tissues and clothing detergent already in the house. We had minor questions for the owner over the week, and he always responded immediately.

Loved it and our week in Falmouth!

Exceptional Property in Fabulous Location with Wonderful Owners

What a place! It took about 1.5 hours to drive down from greater Boston Saturday afternoon on major highways (a welcome respite from the major Cape traffic you'll find going farther down around Orleans/Chatham area).

Any drive is bound to leave you hungry, so it was great walking through the front door to see the owner's meticulously researched "catalog" on restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. and myriad assortment of delivery and take-out menus sitting in the dining room. A quick unpacking in the spacious bedrooms and we were off walking to one of the local Italian eateries recommended by the owner. A five minute walk later we were seated and scanning menus, and around check time a quick namedrop earned a round of complimentary digestivos :)

The next morning it was a ten minute walk to the beach. The water's cold, but New England blood is thicker than water so swimming is a must. And if you're not the swimming type, a brisk walk or bikeride is scenic and pleasant.

After a draining day outdoors, the house is splendidly equipped for laziness and sloth. With an excellent booknook full of salty seafaring books and picturesque Kennedy bios, readers can sit on the quaint wicker chairs or sprawl across one of the comfy couches. If its a beautiful day (when isn't it on the Cape?) then mosey on back to the patio and pull open the umbrella for some sun and fresh air. If reading is not your thing, they've got every Bahstan-tinged movie to come out since Good Will Hunting, and TV is equipped with cable.

All and all, an excellent choice to get away, close enough to the beach to smell the surf and close enough to town to enjoy a slice of quaint, local goodness.

Great vacation home!

I'm hesitant to let anyone know how fabulous this house is for fear it will always be booked when we want to rent again! Me, my husband and my twin boys (1.5) enjoyed every second in this house. It was the perfect size and it had everything we needed- not only inside but outside as well. The rooms were large, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for my very active boys to run around. The sun room is a great area for people and dog watching- and for keeping the toys contained! The best part of our day was coming home from the beach and hopping in the outdoor shower. We all loved it. The location is perfect as well. Restaurants are a 5 min walk, if that. And the beach on the other end of the street is a 10 min walk. I really can't say enough about the house itself- clean, spacious and it has everything you need. The owners are beyond wonderful. They answered all the questions we had prior to vacation and while we were there. They are very nice, responsive, responsible owners and it was a relief to us that if we did need to reach them, they would respond. I would recommend obtaining a beach pass for the time you are there- that way you can visit all of the beaches Falmouth has to offer. We spent our whole 2 weeks at Stoney Beach in Woods Hole- wonderful for small kids. We can not wait until next summer!

Exceptional Property in Fabulous Location with Wonderful Owners

Our family of four stayed at this lovely home in Falmouth for a week in August. Prior to our arrival, the owners were very helpful providing insights about both the home and the area. Their pride of ownership was evident and they were a pleasure to work with. We have rented many beach homes over the years and would rate this at the top. The patio with gas grill came in handy for several dinners and s'mores. The beds were very comfortable and the home was as clean as any we have rented. The décor was charming and new. We would highly recommend this property to friends, relatives and anyone who wants to get away from it all and relax on Cape Cod.

Great House for Families. Well equipped and very conveniant to beach and town.

We had a wonderful stay the week of the fourth of July. Ages ranged from 17 to 82 and all had a wonderful week. My brother actually rented the house across the street for the same week where the rest of the family stayed. Our house ended up being the cook-out headquarters because it has a large patio and yard. We did half the puzzles, played croquet, rode bikes (except the 82 year old) and ate lots of lobster. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. And thank goodness for the air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Wonderful Cape Cod holiday!

We had such a great time at this quintessential Cape Cod house! There are several attractions within a short driving distance, but we really enjoyed the ease of being able to walk to the beach or town for shopping, dinner and/or ice cream. There is a concert once a week as well as a fresh market and craft show on the lawn beside the main street. After a nice day at the beach or walking around town, it was so relaxing to come back to this lovely house where our kids could play. The owners have stocked the house with toys, games, and books for kids and adults, and the colors of the rooms and the decor were gorgeous, exactly what I would expect in a New England beach house. We really enjoyed their large patio and back yard as well. Check out the amazingly fresh fish from the local fishmonger recommended by the owners, which you can quickly bbq for dinner after a full day of activities.

Clean, comfortable and well-located home in Falmouth

My family (with 2 children under the age of 10) spent 1 full week at this large, comfortable,well-equipped home in Falmouth. The house is perfectly situated as it is a short walk to the beach and very close to the heart of Falmouth. We used the house as a base for a series of day trips to beautiful beaches and quaint little towns up the Cape. Evenings were usually spent at the local beach searching for crabs and enjoying the sea air. This was our first trip to Cape Cod but definitely not our last. We would not hesitate to return to this home and have already recommended this location to many friend and family. I recall fondly a week of wonderful sleeps on comfortable and clean beds with windows open and fresh sea air cooling the space - it was perfect for a getaway. Thank you to the owners for thinking of so many details and making our stay so memorable and easy!
